INTRA MARE has been recently appointed as the exclusive representative of FUTURE PIPE INDUSTRIES (FPI) for Marine Applications in Greece & Cyprus.
Founded in 1984 in Dubai UAE, Future Pipe Industries (FPI) has rapidly grown to become a global leader in anti corrosive fiberglass pipe system design and manufacturing. With the largest product portfolio of large diameter, high pressure, high-temperature, fiberglass pipe systems. FPI has installed more than 160,000 kilometres of pipe worldwide and built up a robust reputation for designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke pipe solutions for the world's biggest companies in the fields of infrastructure, oil and gas, industrial, and water. FPI's worldwide offices and testing facilities lead the way in product advancement, guaranteeing the highest standards in the fiberglass pipe industry today.
End-users around the world are selecting fiberglass because of its leading advantages:
* Lightweight Structure: A high strength-to-weight ratio offers lower transportation and installation costs compared to materials such as steel or concrete. Fiberglass is light and strong.
* Longevity: Increased durability extends the system life cycle significantly beyond what is offered by other alternative materials. Fiberglass is economical and environmentally friendly.
* Resilience: Fiberglass offers excellent resistance against corrosive environments including soils, salt water, H2S and chemical applications. Fiberglass lasts longer.
* Efficiency: Provides a better hydraulic performance than steel, ductile iron and concrete, significantly reducing operating costs. Fiberglass is cost effective.
* Versatility: Accommodates a variety of assembly options and complex configurations due to its versatility, capacity to withstand high pressures, temperatures and loads as well as intense chemical resistance parameters. Fiberglass works in a multitude of applications.
FPI products for Marine Applications
FPI leads the marine market in fiberglass pipe systems, offering a substantial portfolio of bespoke products and solutions which can meet extreme environmental requirements, including the ability to withstand very high water pressures of up to 3000 PSI.
FPI's exclusively developed product range includes Fiberstrong™, Wavistrong™, Wavistrong™ FR, Fibermar™, Fiberfloat™, Red Box® and Yellow Box®, all of which are manufactured according to international standards and the strictest customer specifications.
The FPI product range for Marine & Oil & Gas sectors are installed world over for a diverse range of applications:
* Marine Piping on Vessels: Pipe systems for the ship building industry, mainly used for marine piping on vessels and submarines.
* Offshore Platform Piping: Pipe systems for offshore applications including platform piping.
* Floats and Dredging: Pipes for dredging, floating production storage and off-loading (FPSO).
WAVISTRONG™ product
Developed in-house by Future Pipe Industries (FPI), Wavistrong™ stands the test of time because it is manufactured to the highest specifications, using a thermosetting resin system where glass fibers are wound on to a smooth rotating mandrel and impregnated with an aromatic or cycloaliphatic amine cured epoxy resin. The resulting pipe has a high chemical and corrosion resistance as well as excellent mechanical, physical and thermal properties.
Wavistrong™ pipes and fittings range from 25 mm to 1,600 mm in diameter and can withstand pressures up to 50 Barg. This makes it as the ideal pipe system for a wide range of marine applications such as:
* Sew water cooling pipelines
* Ballast water treatment system pipelines
* Scrubber pipelines
