Recently, Headway Technology has officially partnered with a central state-owned enterprise to provide to a newly constructed fixed offshore platform with an automatically back-flashing filtration skid solution developed independently.
The product has been successfully delivered. According to a press release of Headway, this collaboration marks Headway's breakthrough in the "first-of-its-kind" offshore platform filtration skid products, making it one of the few domestic companies with the capability to independently research, develop and produce offshore platform filtration skids. The successful implementation of this project has laid a solid foundation for Headway to further expand into multiple fields and improve its product solution system.
The automatically back-flashing filtration skid solution delivered this time is mainly used for the filtration of seawater for fire-fighting and cooling on offshore platforms, effectively removing impurities from seawater and significantly reducing the risk of blockage of key equipment such as valves and nozzles. The solution features high-standard design in aspects such as the material of the filter body and pipelines, and the protection rating of the control box. Its core control module has passed the IP56 certification and obtained the product recognition from China Classification Society (CCS).
Relying on its rich experience in the fields of ballast water management systems and alternative fuel supply systems, Headway has a deep technical accumulation and mature R&D and production capabilities in the field of filtration and separation. The skid solution features a unique filter screen structure with higher filtration accuracy and a larger effective filtration area. It can operate stably in global waters, especially in water with much sand and high biological content. It can also automatically perform efficient back-flashing on a timer or based on differential pressure, ensuring stable system flow and pressure. In addition, Headway can also provide customized filtration and purification solutions for media such as fuel oil and methanol.
After the product delivery, Headway received a thank-you letter from the customer.
Currently, Headway Technology Group has formed a low-carbon shipping product ecosystem covering three major sectors: carbon neutrality, water treatment, and smart shipping.
