For the second time, 40 Member Companies of the WIMA (Worldwide Industrial & Marine Association) presented their products and services in a unique way within an industrial space specially configured for the WIMA exhibition, which was successfully held on November 12 and 13, 2025, at the Stone Warehouse of the PPA in the port of Piraeus.

At the same time, during the exhibition, a conference was held on November 12 with two thematic panels: Greek Coastal Shipping: Challenges, Opportunities and the Future of Coastal Shipping and Energy Saving Devices (ESDs).

The President of WIMA, Mr. Ilias Chatziefraimidis, welcomed the guests for the second consecutive year to the WIMA exhibition and emphasized in his speech that this is an institution established successfully in 2023 and, thanks to the support and participation of the members as well as the public, continues even more dynamically. He also stated that “this year’s event is special for us. Our Association celebrates 20 years of operation — 20 years of progress, cooperation, and continuous effort to promote our common goals. Twenty years full of initiatives, challenges, and significant achievements that we have all managed to accomplish together.”

On November 12, the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Mr. Stefanos Gikas, honored WIMA exhibition with his presence. After touring the booths of our association’s members and speaking individually with each one, he proceeded to deliver brief remarks. The Hellenic Chamber of Shipping was represented by its President, Mr. George Alexandratos, who also addressed the audience. The Municipality of Piraeus was represented by the Mayor of Piraeus, Mr. Yiannis Moralis, who delivered a short greeting, as well as the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Sustainable Development, Mr. Dimitris Karidis. The President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Mr. Vassilis Korkidis, also addressed the event, highlighting how important such initiatives are for the development of sustainable entrepreneurship, which the Chamber actively supports.

The Exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, the Municipality of Piraeus, and the PCCI.
